Our Mission

Central Texas Ruffugees is a foster-based rescue dedicated to giving homeless dogs from Central and South Texas a second chance at life. Through rescue, rehabilitation, direct adoption, and transport to trusted rescue partners, we help dogs find safe, loving homes both in Texas and beyond. Every dog receives veterinary care, socialization, and the compassion they deserve while they wait for their forever family.

Powered entirely by volunteers and without a physical shelter, our success depends on the support of fosters, adopters, rescue partners, and donors who share our belief that every dog deserves a chance. Together, we are changing lives—one Texas dog at a time.
